Visit of Ilan Alon Ph. D., American consultant for franchise

From September 5 to 15, 2006 Ilan Alon Ph.D. professor from Rollins College, Florida USA and consultant with international experience in area of franchising visited Croatia. His host was The Franchise Center of The Center for Entrepreneurship in Osijek. Main mission of dr. Alon was to help in further profesionalization of services provided by The Franchise Center to all interested in becoming either franchisors or franchisees. His visit to Croatia was co-financed by USAID project Poduzetna Hrvatska. During his stay in Osijek dr. Alon visited several companies in Osijek and held following workshops: "How to project franchise network" – on which business consultants for potential franchisors attended (photo-gallery), "Legal aspects of franchising" – attended by lawyers interested in this field of business, and "How to finance franchising" – attended by representatives of following financial institutions: Privredna banka Zagreb d.d., Zagrebačka banka d.d., Varaždinska banka d.d., Hrvatska banka za obnovu i razvoj, Slatinska banka, Erste banka i NOA škz.
