Goals and Mission

The Franchise Center, as a part of The Center For Entrepreneurship Osijek in cooperation with The Franchise Center (TCF) University of Texas El Paso (UTEP) has developed a program and activities with a main goal being introduction of a franchise concept to the local entrepreneurs and a promotion of that concept in Croatia in general. One of every four business started in the world is a franchise business. Why wouldn't it be like that in Croatia, too?

The Franchise Center Osijek is a franchise office of the The Franchise Center (TCF) University of Texas El Paso (UTEP). There are only two franchise offices of this kind in Europe. One in Osijek and the second one is The Franchise Center within University of Jyvaskyla, Finland, since 1989.

The above mentioned centers have the common goal: to become a mayor role players in spreading the awareness about franchise business through the development of educational and training programs, research projects, advising programs and all other means of spreading the information about franchise business in general.

The mission -To become a leader in spreading the awareness about franchise business through the development of educational and training programs, research and advising programs and other means of spreading the information about franchise business.

Main goals of The Franchise Center of the Center for Entrepreneurship Osijek:

• To become a leader in spreading the awareness about franchise business in Croatia,
• To help entrepreneurs develop their business into a franchise, with the purpose of helping the Croatian export growth,
• To help with the development of educational and training programs, research and advising programs and other means of spreading the information about franchise business as tools for business development and expansions.
